Garry conducts a range of personalised fly fishing courses through the A1 website as well as group courses with the TAFE's Coffs Coast Community College in Coffs Harbour NSW.
Courses are conducted in a courteous and caring manner with personal attention to the needs of each student . Garry is friendly and encouraging and you can be assured of informative and patient instruction that will have you relaxed and at ease.

Course are conducted waterside at : Woolgoolga Lake NSW Woolgoolga is one of Coffs Harbour's northern beaches only 25kms from the Coffs CBD. Woolgoolga is the next largest CBD outside Coffs Harbour and is a very popular tourist destination only 6hrs north of Sydney and 5 hours south of Brisbane. A range of courses are offered to cater for all anglers needs. Apart from a list of structured courses, private tuition is available to instruct the angler in any specialist area required.
Woolgoolga Lake is a picturesque saltwater estuary where you will be able to try your new skills on the water. New fly anglers undertaking beginner courses may be surprised at fly fishing in a saltwater environment, those in the know are well aware that 'Saltwater fly fishing' is a very popular aspect of the sport. With the endless beaches, rivers and estuaries we enjoy in this great country, the opportunities to enjoy the sport of fly fishing is endless. The skills you will acquire will not only enable you to fish saltwater but have you equipped to fish in our freshwater streams and impoundments.
There are 2 day midweek/weekend courses also available giving the opportunity to gain a full fly fishing experience. Theory and casting tuition along side a guided fishing session with your instructor is undertaken. The 2 day timeframe gives the angler extra time to settle in to the 'feel' of fly fishing and enables the instructor further time to assess the anglers needs and give that extra personalized tuition. Accommodation can be arranged waterside and is popular with couples and groups.
