Riverina Sportfishing promotes and supports catch and release in order to preserve our native species for future generation. Riverina Sportfishing operates a 4.1m Polycraft Challenger powered by a 40hp Honda engine and a 55lb Minn Kota electric motor. I also offer shore based trips and specialty night tours. Jamin fish's whenever he gets spare time and has spent the past twenty years perfecting lure fishing techniques to suit the Murrumbidgee and Murray Rivers, fishing almost exclusively for Murray cod and golden perch (and enjoying the incidental captures of the totally protected trout cod). His first book Reel Time (a collection of fishing stories focussing on the humorous aspects of fishing trips) was published in September 2004. Jamin's second book Fishing and Camping Murrumbidgee River Gundagai to Narrandera (co-written with Martin Asmus) was released in September 2006. This book details sixty publicly accessible reserves, state forests, and travelling stock reserves (TSR) along the Murrumbidgee River. Following the success of Fishing and Camping Murrumbidgee River Gundagai to Narrandera, in December 2007, Jamin and Marty published the next book in this series Fishing and Camping Murrumbidgee River Narrandera to Balranald, and are planning to do a third in the series from Gundagai through Canberra. Jamin is a regular contributor to Freshwater Fishing Magazine, with articles published on Hay Weir, Wagga Wagga Cod, Winter Fishing, Persistence in Freshwater Fishing, Bundigerry Creek and Trout Cod and also contributes fishing articles for 4x4 Trader Magazine, with articles published on Fishing the Fast Water at Wantabadgery, Murray cod at the ‘Dairy’, Fishing from Hay Weir to Wentworth, Bermagui and fishing ‘Way out West’. In addition, Jamin shares a fishing column for the Daily Advertiser newspaper in Wagga, is a VIP contributor to one of Australia's leading fishing websites www.spooled.com.au and has appeared on Channel Nines ‘Fishing Australia’ with Rob Paxevanos.
